Success School was set up in February in 2010. We are a professional language school that organises general and specialist English courses for young and adult learners.Courses take place at schools closest to our clients’ place of residence or at their workplace.

Kaja Wawrzak & Agata Mandzińska
are both graduates from prestigious English Universities – Oxford University and Westminster Univeristy and also both hold BA in English Philology from Wroclaw University. They received thorough pedagogical preparation at Teacher Training College in Częstochowa and have worked as teachers in educational institutions in Poland and abroad since 2004.

GENERAL COURSES
Courses for kindergarten pupils (aged 4-6 years)
organised at nursery schools pupils attend to or near their place of residence in agreement with the school principal.
The aim of this course is to make a child familiar with the English language through:
- various exercises, games, songs and regular revision
- introduction and consolidation of thematic vocabulary
- introduction of first expressions
- teacher’s instructions in English
Courses for primary and lower secondary students
organised at schools pupils attended to or near their place of residence in agreement with the school principal. Courses take place after students’ school classes.
The course target is:
- to revise and consolidate the material introduced at school and extend by thematic vocabulary and useful expressions
- spontaneous communication through wide range of real life situations
- to revise grammar and introduce new grammar structures
- to familiarise students with English phonetic alphabet and proper pronunciation of English words
Courses for secondary schools students
preparing to the new Matura exam - organised at schools students attend to or near their place of residence in agreement with the school principal. These courses focus on preparation for the Matura exam – A-level exam (both written and spoken) on the basic and extended level. Students take two trial Matura exams to check their knowledge and make them acquainted with the form of the exam and the evaluation system; tests are afterwards discussed individually with each student.
The curriculum of the course includes:
- practice of reading and listening abilities
- revision and consolidation of grammar structures and vocabulary as well as extension to new items typical for Matura exam
- preparation for spoken (conversation, picture description, discussion) and written performance
- exercises based on the Matura exams from the previous years.
Courses for adults
can be organised at Medical School in Częstochowa, clients’ workplace, primary and secondary schools or other educational institution that is suitable for clients in the agreement with the manager of that institution. The content and the level of the course depend on clients’ requirements.
Conversation classes
can be organised at Medical School in Częstochowa, clients’ workplace, primary and secondary schools or other educational institution that is suitable for clients in the agreement with the manager of that institution. The course focuses on vast vocabulary from different areas but is always suitable to the students’ level.
Course curriculum includes:
- spontaneous communication with a special emphasis on correct pronunciation
- introduction and practice of dialogues and real life situations
- introduction of thematic vocabulary with the use of authentic materials (eg. BBC materials, British magazines)
First Certificate preparation courses
can be organised at Medical School in Częstochowa, clients’ workplace, primary and secondary schools or other educational institution that is suitable for clients in the agreement with the manager of that institution. The main objective of this course is to revise grammar and vocabulary as well as practise speaking, listening, reading and writing skills. During this course students become familiar with the form of FC exam and types of exercises appearing in the test. The students have an pportunity to check their knowledge during two trial tests which are later individually discussed with every learner.
Grammar workshops
can be organised at Medical School in Częstochowa, clients’ workplace, primary and secondary schools or other educational institution that is suitable for clients in the agreement with the manager of that institution. The aim of the workshop is to check students’ command of grammar, revise grammatical structures and introduce new material. Our school pays special attention to the consolidation of each grammar unit - we do not introduce new grammar structures before the previous ones are not fully comprehended. We use a wide variety of materials and types of exercises. We try to help our students to use correct grammar structures in real life conversations.
CV writing course
the course is aimed at familiarising students with the proper layout of an English CV as well as Europass CV. Students also learn how to write a covering letter. The course introduces typical vocabulary and expressions used in formal correspondence. During the course a lecturer advises students how to prepare for an interview and practises a simulation of a job interview with each student.
Application form to a foreign University
using personal experience we offer a professional advice and help to those wishing to apply to a foreign university (application, CV, covering letter), help to fill in application documents, do CV checks/translations, offer information about application form attachments (essays, reference letters, school transcripts) or just offer feedback on prepared application. We serve help and offer practical advice on studying in the UK.
COURSES FOR PROFESSIONALS
English for dentists
This course in intended for dentists, their assistants and hygienists who wish to enhance their professional qualifications, find employment abroad and easily communicate with English speaking patients in Poland and abroad. The main aim of the course is to introduce, practise and consolidate dental terminology and to develop the ability to communicate in English.This course is for both those who place first steps in English and (more challenging version) for intermediate and upper-intermediate students.
Course curriculum includes:
- dental terminology (treatments, drugs, equipment used in dental surgery, diseases)
- improving the ability to communicate in English through useful expressions and examples of dialogues
- introduction and consolidation of grammar structures, especially those used in dental practice
- working with written texts to develop the ability to understand written instructions and articles
- teaching correct pronunciation

English for pharmacists
This course is intended for pharmacists and students of pharmacy. Its aim is to introduce, practise and consolidate pharmaceutical terminology to be able to understand the mode of action of certain drugs and their leaflets in English as well as to practise dialogues and learn expressions that enable casual conversation with English speaking customers, pharmacies or laboratories personnel abroad.
Course curriculum includes:
- pharmaceutical terminology (pharmacology and elements of organic and inorganic chemistry, anatomy and botany)
- examples of dialogues to practise communication skills
- writing formal letters, reports etc.
- introduction and consolidation of English grammar
- working with adapted authentic medical and pharmaceutical written texts and developing the ability to understand them

English for nurses
This course is intended for nurses and students of nursing who wish to enhance their professional qualifications and consider working abroad. The aim of the course is to introduce medical terminology used in nursing practice, to develop the ability to communicate and give instructions and to practise listening comprehension. In return the skills acquired during the course will help to easily communicate in English with medical personnel and patients abroad.
Course curriculum includes:
- medical terminology (anatomy, physiology, nursing practice: drugs, treatments, equipment, vocabulary connected to patient care)
- common abbreviations in medicine and nursing
- practising speaking through expressions and examples of dialogues (a special emphasis is put on the ability to understand and give instructions)
- developing the ability to write (for example: medical history, filling in documents) and listening comprehension

General medical course
The course is intended not only for doctors or medical students but also for masseurs or physiotherapists and everyone else who wants to learn medical English. Its aim is to introduce and consolidate medical terminology and to learn useful expressions enhancing communication in English with patient and medical personnel during a work placement or employment abroad.
Course curriculum includes:
- general medical terminology (anatomy, physiology, diseases, simple treatments, hospital equipment, medical abbreviations)
- improving speaking through learning useful expressions and practising dialogues (for example of taking history and during medical examination)

Business and administration courses
The course is intended for entrepreneurs, business clients, administrators, assistants, sales specialists, logistics staff and for students of marketing and administration.
Course curriculum includes:
- developing general language skills: speaking, writing, listening and reading comprehension
- useful specialist terminology (elements of legal English, administration, accountancy, IT,)
- practising and improving speaking (especially negotiating and telephone conversations)
- writing formal correspondence and less formal pieces of writing such as emails, offers, orders
- using real life materials (English newspapers, examples of documents, contracts, certificates, pay slips etc.)
Legal English
The course is intended for lawyers, barristers and students of law who wish to improve their knowledge of specialised vocabulary, acquire the ability to communicate with English speaking clients and write formal correspondence in English.The course is for those who are at least on the intermediate level.
Course curriculum includes:
- specialist legal terminology (civil law, commercial law, labour law, elements of tax law and accountancy)
- developing the ability to understand written documents (agreements, contracts, legal acts sentences etc.)
- improving the ability to communicate in English through dialogues, role –plays (emphasis on discussion and negotiation skills)
- improving formal writing skills (proposals, letters, written statements)
- revision and consolidation of grammar structures
- the course is a good preparation for the Test of Legal English Skills (TOLES) exam
English for the military and police force
The course is intended for police officers, fire fighters, customs officers and its aim is to introduce useful phrases and vocabulary to improve speaking in order to easily understand and communicate with foreigners visiting Poland (for example during Euro cup 2012) as well as during work placements abroad.The course is for all levels from elementary to upper-intermediate.
Course curriculum includes:
- developing speaking through teaching specialised vocabulary, phrases and simulation of dialogues, role-plays (equipment, types of offences, fire hazards, vocabulary needed during an interrogation, making a search, verification of identity, giving instructions, assisiting victims)
- improving writing skills (writing reports, testimonies, making notes)
- developing listening comprehension skills
- introduction and consolidation of grammar structures
- working with real life materials (English press, training materials, manuals etc.)

these are courses which content is chosen by the clients themselves and materials are designed according to their needs

· Conference interpretation (30€ * – 60 minutes)
· Phone translation (20€ *- 60 minutes )
* minimum payment in case of shorter duration of an assignment from 8am-6pm Monday to Friday.
Minimum payment outside those hours is double the standard price.
Client agrees to cover travel expenses of the interpreter and costs of accommodation should it be required.
